What we do

we focus on a hands-on approach to interiors that exhibit contemporary aesthetics and excellence in craftsmanship. Our role is to guide our clients thru the design process- from interpreting their needs, concepting the design, working with architects/builders, collaborating with vendors and craftsmen, keeping on schedule and staying within budget so that the transformation is smooth. We enjoy collaborating with our clients and we strive to create dynamic spaces that are authentic, livable and reflect their personalities.

How We Work?

Initially, we try to obtain a floor plan and as much information as possible about the project at hand. Then we meet with the client/architect/builder on site for a walk thru so we can assess the space. We then put together a design brief which outlines the scope of work, expected timeframe, expected budget and our design agreement.

Once the initial brief and agreement have been agreed upon and signed, we start the research and design development phase. This involves drafting floorplans, furniture placement, specific room elevations, materials selection, paint color selections, lighting placement and selections, all furnishings, wall coverings, fabrics for upholstery, floorings and window covering details. This process typically takes 2-3 weeks. We then meet with the client and hash out all design concepts with them room by room, presenting the schemes and all materials involved. If there are revisions necessary we provide them within reasonable time.

Once the design schemes are set, we start the construction/purchasing/fabrication process. We establish a workback schedule and all parties are aware of timelines and work taking place. This phase can involve on-site meetings for progress, mock ups and site specific tasks such as lighting and wallpaper installations. When all building work is complete and space is clean, we then install all furnishings, rugs, soft goods and accessories.

How we charge?

We are specific and transparent regarding our fees. On every invoice we relay all product and services cost, vendor specifics and the designer markup fees. At the end of every project, the client receives a binder with all vendor order details and invoices so that should they need any replacement elements in the future, they are quickly located.

Occasionally we will do flat fee projects and those are decided on a per project basis.
